Druskininkai

Namas yra 7-15 minučių kelio automobiliu nuo Druskininkų miesto (priklausomai nuo to kaip greitai jūs važiuojate!). Pastaraisiais metais Druskininkai labai pasikeitė - atgijo sanatorijų veikla, padaugėjo turistų. Druskininkuose esantys sveikatingumo centrai jau yra žinomi daugeliui. 

1794 m. birželio 20 d. didysis Lietuvos kunigaikštis ir Lenkijos karalius Stanislovas Augustas Poniatovskis savo dekretu paskelbė Druskininkus gydomąja vietove. 1837 m., Vilniaus universiteto profesoriui Ignacijui Fonbergui atlikus ir paskelbus mineralinio vandens cheminės sudėties tyrimus, Rusijos imperatorius Nikolajus I patvirtino Druskininkų kurorto įrengimo projektą.

Šiandieniniai Druskininkai – tarptautinis ištisus metus veikiantis balneologinis, purvo, mineralinio vandens ir klimato terapijos kurortas. Kurortas turtingas įvairios mineralizacijos vandenimis, savo chemine sudėtimi panašiais į žinomus Europos mineralinius vandenis, bei gydomojo durpinio purvo telkiniais. Dėl Druskininkus supančių pušynų, daugybės vandens telkinių oras čia labai švarus, o jame vyraujantys neigiami (lengvieji) jonai – esminis oro švarumo požymis. Šiuo metu kurorte veikia atnaujinta Druskininkų gydykla ir Vandens parkas, 6 sanatorijos, 16 viešbučių nuo 2 iki 4 žvaigždučių, 11 svečių namų, 16 kaimo turizmo sodybų ir SPA kompleksai.

Be kitų lankytinų vietų, Druskininkuose yra ir Miško muziejus "Girios Aidas" bei M.K. Čiurlionio muziejus.
